The Asus TUF Gaming VG249QE5A is a 24-inch gaming monitor with an IPS panel, a 146Hz refresh rate and 125% sRGB color coverage. It is an attractive choice for gamers who want speed and good image quality in the mainstream segment.
Specifications
1Design and build
The Asus TUF Gaming VG249QE5A has a distinctly gaming look with a sturdy stand and thin bezels. Its 24-inch size fits most desks and gaming setups.
2Image quality
With an IPS panel and 125% sRGB coverage, the monitor reproduces vivid colors with wide viewing angles. That is a big advantage not only for gaming but also for movies and basic content editing.
3Gaming performance
A 146Hz refresh rate makes motion much smoother than on 60Hz or 75Hz monitors. In FPS, MOBA and Battle Royale games, you can clearly feel the difference in responsiveness and smoothness.
4Built-in speakers and everyday use
The built-in speakers are a plus, so you do not need extra audio gear for basic use. For gamers and audiophiles, though, headphones or external speakers are still the better choice.
